The easiest and best source of good used cars is rental car companies. The final source is estate, bankruptcy sales and government auctions. Many of these places will give you affordable prices on cars that are almost new. No matter which source you select you must always be prepared to do a little bit of traveling before you can find a good car within your budget.
If you are purchasing used cars to start your own business then you must keep in mind some legal issues. One of these is the fact that most states will require you to get a Dealer’s License if you plan on selling used cars for profit on a regular basis. All the information you need to get this license can be found at your local DMV or Department of Public Safety.
In addition to licensing you will also have to worry about other legal matters such as permits, insurance policies or records. However, if you make sure you have all of this in order before you being selling then you won’t have to worry about any legal problems. Any mistake in your paperwork can cost you a lot of money with the IRS.
